Yesterday, I made it very clear to a colleague that I never have nor would I spend money against a someone in my caucus. I may not agree with you, I may not even like you but I don’t do it. Those who do are the lowest form and have forgotten Karma.

I am very saddened and hurt by my colleagues that have put money against people including myself in this last election. There are definitely people I disagree with in our caucus but I would never consider doing such a thing. It’s just horrible and small.

Over and over I have heard that this General Assembly had the fewest amount of legislation, etc. Folks, first of all we have had the most fiscally conservative GA. We also don’t NEED more laws. We need better laws! If you just pass fast laws you have to go back and fix them

By doing needlework you can look up, make eye contact and communicate. But it calms many people. I had one woman tell me it made her feel like I was much more human and easier for her to talk to so not scary in that setting

Actually I would tend to agree! I used to bring my needlepoint because I found I could listen better when I did something with my hands and I still could pay attention to the person speaking. When questioned about it, I stated exactly that I wasn’t reading my phone! I listen!
