Ranked choice voting has no place in Ohio! On top of causing delays in election results, ranked choice voting has proven to decrease voter turnout and create confusion due to its complex procedures! Today, I’ve reintroduced bipartisan legislation to prohibit it in SB 63!

I love when constituents visit my office in Columbus! Today, I had a great meeting with Directors of county Mental Health and Recovery Services Board’s from the 2nd Senate District!

This week, I introduced Senate Bill 4, my first bill of the 136th General Assembly! This legislation would codify the Election Integrity Unit in the Secretary of States office, while also giving the Ohio Attorney General greater authority in prosecuting cases of voter fraud!

Wrapped up a historic weekend by celebrating with President Trump and Vice President Vance at the Liberty Ball! It was an honor to be in DC for the Inauguration, but it was made even more special by having my dad with me!

A major victory for free speech! Senate Bill 237, legislation I sponsored with Senator Manning, has been signed into law! This law will put an end to Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation!

All eyes will be on Northwest Ohio this June, with the Italian Bowl set to return to Toledo! Yesterday, I participated in a press conference outlining the exciting events coming to Toledo this spring, leading all the way up to the big game!

Senate Bill 58 is now law! This legislation I sponsored with Senator Johnson will prohibit governments from requiring liability insurance and a fee for owning a gun! I will always fight to protect your 2nd amendment rights!

Yesterday was opening day for the 136th General Assembly! After making the journey through the snow to Columbus, I was officially sworn-in as Majority Floor Leader! I am honored to continue to serve on our great Senate Leadership Team!

Bowling Green Municipal Court has a new Judge, City Prosecutor Alyssa Blackburn! Judge Blackburn was recently appointed to the Municipal Court to replace Judge Mark Reddin, who is retiring after 28 years of exemplary service. Judge Blackburn will do great in her new role!
