Late Saturday/Sunday coming into focus as days with significant travel impact in New England… significant front end snow to a potentially significant inland icing event… not great on one of the biggest ski weekends of the winter

Light snow out there this evening! Likely continues until very early morning when it flips to rain

I think the icing potential on the backside of this weekends system is a significant risk. Cold air is going to rush in from the north and with warm air aloft, freezing rain is a serious concern
