Fairly quick moving storm but a fairly high impact one.

If I can be half the man my Dad was, I'd be blessed. I can't think, I can't sleep, I can't stop thinking of My Dad, my hero my best friend. A man I lived with, kissed every night with zero shame/embarrassment. He wanted to be my DAD till his last breath. I pray he's at peace

Thanks all for the kind words /condolences,my Dad battled Muscular Dystrophy for his last 10 years. Never 1 complaint. Lived thru life w/1 eye too! He died peacefully in his bed shortly after saying goodbye to me on my way out for work.
He made me the kind man I think I've become

hitting 50° for 10 days from what I see. Multiple below freezing nights/mornings ! I'm sure we will sneak in some warmer temps , but still, very chilly days ahead. As it is still March. It should get "nice" by mid June

Friday's system we have been keeping an eye on is another coastal gradient rider that originates from the southeast US.
History says it comes a bit further N/NW, again.
Likely no phase for a massive storm, but a couple different ways to get another potential decent event.

I feel at peace that dad passed away in his bed, literally in a fetal position. I just would like to know what exactly happened when I peaked my head in to say goodbye at 6:10am and he said "GB, have a good day Ant" as always, and about 7:30, when we think he passed away.

Confidence is high that we are in for a coastal storm later Sunday and Monday.
Things can change a bit, but it looks like a general 4-8" of snow. Coast goes rain to snow. Not a ton of wind, but pretty gusty Monday.
Pretty straightforward event coming, I'd say.

I was just doing some reminiscing about how extreme of a period it was from the late Jan 2015 Blizzard, then into Feb which was the most extreme, cold & snowy month on record in the Boston area. Just a ridiculously awesome period to have experienced !

The key for this system Tuesday will be the mid level low..Pretty sure at this time that a surface low comes off the eastern Seaboard near southern NJ Tuesday, then tightening of all levels. IF the mid-level low stays offshore as is shown here, lean cold !
