She openly cheered the arrests at the time. FIRE has so far refused to comment on the arrests so this must be their official position. In FIRE’s eyes the arrests are legitimate
Students do appear to be in violation of valid, neutrally-applied college policy. (We're checking.) Students have said they are ok being arrested. If they elect to engage in civil disobedience, they can expect consequences like suspension or arrest.
