My portrait of
#SirDavidAttenborough
which was unveiled today
@theroyalsociety
It’s been the greatest honour and thrill to paint him, am only sad the sittings are finished and I’ll no longer have an excuse to bask in his brilliant, charismatic and entertaining company
Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh 1921-2021
He was a hugely impressive man in person, who’s public persona belied a fierce intelligence, quick humour and seemingly endless curiosity. Very happy memories of sittings at Buckingham Palace back in 2006

Absolutely gutted to hear that Michael
#Parkinson
has died. Surely the greatest of all time, he had a brilliant combination of perfect courteousness with sharp intellect and a great journalist’s mind for detail
Bowled over by news that my earliest attempt at bronze sculpture has been acquired by

for their permanent collection. The first to be cast from a virtual drawing and that several new technologies had ever been combined this way
@googlearts
One of the guys in this photo today beat the world record for wickets taken in test matches. The others are in contention for the worst jokes ever told at a sporting event. I’ll leave you to work it out

This recently unveiled portrait of The King by Jonathan Yeo will be on display at Buckingham Palace this summer until 29 September, before it ultimately hangs in Drapers’ Hall in London.

I’d meant to have this painting finished weeks ago but hey-ho, nothing seems to have turned out quite as planned this year.
Who’s seen the movie so far?

Hands are a 3 dimensional jigsaw puzzle. Occasionally the pieces fall into place easily but usually they don’t. Maybe it’s because the shape is less important than the movement they imply and what they say about their owner..?
