last nights awards show was three and a half hours (210 minutes) long. interestingly if you include the pre-show, the total runtime of awards acceptance speeches (13 awards) is just under 12 minutes total.

When I say 'you will lose access to gamedevs', you've already lost access to a bunch. A lot of gamedevs won't put themselves out there, won't step into the spotlight when given opportunities, won't go on stage, etc specifically for this reason. And its hard to argue with them.

I've done actual studies and tests on this subject. It turns out that most men who play games are perfectly happy to play as women, visible minorities, and other non cishet white 30-something male characters.
Its a SMALL (negligible) percentage who cry super loudly. Mostly boys.
