@_vezbian I have been forced to work with people who used GPT for their writing and it shows... Horrible, horrible writing. It is actually possible to use GPT to improve your writing and get inspiration. But if you just copy+past, the text will be 90% useless filler.

Today I thought I had made a beautifull discovery in algebraic graph theory, that seemed to beautifull to be true. It wasn't. As always, I made a mistake three pages earlier. You got away this time, fields medal, BUT I WILL RETURN.

Roughly 68% of all values lie within a band around the mean in a normal distribution with a width of two standard deviations. Double the width and 95% of all values are inside the band. #statistics Made with @matplotlib .

Open access is important. I discovered the ArXiv when I was 16 years old. I had never read a scientific paper before. So I understood next to nothing. But this open repository watered my mouth and became one of the major reasons why I wanted to go to university. #OpenScience

Collisions. The Lagrangian for a bouncing ball ⚽ can be quite tricky to define because it involves a discontinuity at the moment of impact. However, we can use a common trick used in modeling collisions: We mirror the velocity vector on impact. (1/3)🤔
