Pit bulls/Bully breeds have been battling a bad reputation for many years. I’ve spent a career with them & through my experiences, providing care & interacting they are among the nicest dogs in the world. Generally the problem isn’t with the dog but with irresponsible owners.

We are delighted that a Bill to phase out greyhound racing in Scotland will soon be brought to the Scottish Parliament– something we have long called for. Dogs involved in greyhound racing can suffer significant injury & in some cases death all for the purpose of entertainment.

This is the desperately sad story told to us by the latest member to join us. Once dogs with such a high prey drive focus on a target there is no stopping them. Just think what this has done to the children seeing a much loved pet ripped to shreds. How many more cases do you need
