The point should be as per Q 2:221 "And do not marry polytheistic men until they believe."

Tawaffā appears in 25 passages in the Qur’an, and twice in relation to Christ Jesus (Q 5:117and Q 3.55).
For 23 of those passages the Muslim commentators generally follow the standard definition, that is that Allah (swt) separates the soul from the body or makes one die.
