On February 12, 2025, the Santa Barbara County Planning and Development Department (the “County”) delivered a letter to Sable Offshore Corp. (“Sable”) confirming that certain pipeline repair work on the Las Flores Pipeline System (the “Pipeline”) is “authorized by the existing permits (Final Development Plan, Major Conditional Use Permit, and associated Coastal Development Permits) and was analyzed in the prior Environmental Impact Report/Environmental Impact Statement (EIR/EIS).” The letter states in part that “[t]he County previously exercised its authority under its Local Coastal Program and delegated Coastal Act authority in approving the permits and the requested anomaly repair work is within the scope of those approved permits.” $SOC

@JasonStrom84409 @Patriot____1776 @KibbleBob1212 the “war” tweet and delete, now this. Dont think genuine holders need smoke and mirrors, better to say something or nothing …but I guess its working for your options account.

@JasonStrom84409 Jason you dont make posts like '$soc - War!' creating some retail panic and then celebrate buying their shares, not cool.

@Homervshomer @JasonStrom84409 Are you are still short from here? I get its California, I get its O&G but at this point (I am in Scotland looking in) it looks such a bad short risk/reward from here post Trump & fires, fascinating if you are.

@KevinCarraher17 @100xCompounding @JasonStrom84409 Sable did keep going iirc after the first contact c&d for a bit, possibly to finish the valves, the withdrawal of lawsuit seems the biggest positive signal/signpost here.

$SOC Sable Offshore ($23) – high inside ownership (20% Jim Flores) – leverage with Exxon old assets in California, recurring revenue & reserves worth $10b (mcap $2b) –Santa Barbara settled with Sable to avoid a $10b lawsuit, to install safety equipment & restart assets. Coastal Commission put a Cease&Desist thinking they can force permit application for pipeline repairs/delay restart, Sable think they don’t need it for restart but playing nice. Li Lu just bought $31m at $23. Restart and with some improvements could be a $50-$100 share, but can California keep them tied up. Couple of hundred million in cash and company still saying oil flows by this year end.
