Radiologist here. For the non medical folks: ‘small’ compared to, say, the liver, spleen, kidneys, etc…thus needing different settings for the scan (and different transducer) to get good images. FWIW testes are also considered ‘small parts’ 😆

Doc with my $0.02: use of patient satisfaction scores as part of a doctor’s compensation is part of this problem. Patients are aware of how scores can be used, & this contributes to an attitude of “you’re just another service provider” to be rated like an Uber driver etc.
