A tough and challenging day in the Mournes as Police 46, @PSNINMDown and other emergency services responded to 3 separate incidents. In strong winds we managed to airlift one male out but sadly the two others had died. Our thoughts are with their loved ones. Sgt A

Just a wee update...back in February a male was arrested for ‘lasering’ our helicopter. Court proceedings have now finished and he was sentenced to 3 months in prison.

We had a report of an usual object in the sky today. We checked it out and can confirm there's nothing to worry about. That bright yellow thing was just the sun! While we were out we took advantage and got a few photos over Belfast.

Casevac from between the Hare’s Gap and Ben Crom today in P45 - our pilot managed to get landed on the only suitable spot in the valley. Fantastic work by Mountain Rescue getting the gent concerned down to the back of the helicopter, broken leg and all. Get well soon 🚁👍

We were tasked by @MCA_media earlier to assist the search for 2 paddle boarders who were in distress off Ballintoy. Police46 responded. @PortrushRNLI located them and they were winched to the safety of dry land by the Coastguard helicopter, Rescue 199.

When a child goes missing, we are as keen as anyone to help and P46 is the ideal tool to assist. Our high-tech camera picked out this particular wee fella in Banbridge and, working with @PSNIABC and pro-active members of the public reunited him with his family. #keepingpeoplesafe

After completing a task with our colleagues @PSNINMDown the helicopter crew were tasked via the Mournes to the Craigavon area to assist colleagues @PSNIABC where there was a report of a scrambler driving dangerously in the area. Following some good work the male was arrested.

Last night, whilst out trying to help keep people safe, one of our aircraft was targeted repeatedly by someone with a laser. Yet again, after good work between the crew and @PSNIBelfastN the person was successfully identified, arrested and will now be in court in January.

Whilst assisting colleagues in @PSNIBelfastW search for a missing person we were subject to repeated laser attacks from the North Belfast area. A local crew was directed to the address and a male has been arrested. He will be interviewed and most likely have a court date soon.

Police 46 were over Ballymena this evening when a male shone a laser at them. Thanks to excellent work between Police 46 and @PSNIMEADistrict one male was arrested for a number of relevant offences and is currently in custody. Sgt C

Today we airlifted a casualty from the Newry area in Police44. Assisted by @PSNINMDown @NIAS999 @NIFRSOFFICIAL @CommunityRescue the lady was taken to hospital in Belfast for treatment and we wish her a speedy recovery. #KeepingPeopleSafe

Working hard today, whilst out over Belfast the crew heard concerns on the radio for a suicdal male and immediately started searching. Very pleased to tell you we found them & they're recieving help and assitance. Great working together with @PSNIBelfastN Sgt A #KeepingPeopleSafe

All pilots have a checklist before they go flying. Santa is no different. He asked us to check his for him. We checked it once, then we checked it twice. We can confirm Santa, you're good to go! Fly safe. We will keep an eye out for you.

We assisted colleagues in @PSNIBelfastW earlier with a pursuit. Driver abandoned the vehicle and tried to hide in an alley. They couldn't hide from Police46. Dog callsign talked on and 1 arrest made.
