I’m not Jewish, so wouldn’t seek a synagogue. I’m not 14, so wouldn’t seek a youth club. I’m a white ginger woman so I wouldn’t seek to join a group for black men. Niche groups are sometimes exclusive, but that doesn’t equal hate. I wish people understood this.

Formula is very stringently controlled, tested and never promoted as better than a mother’s breastmilk. Formula is not toxic and it’s bizarre to suggest it is. Hormone-induced fluid from a highly medicalised man has not received the same safety testing. Don’t be disingenuous.

We had a ‘queer quiz’ at work where the question was ‘who threw the first brick at the stonewall riots’ and they put the answer as Marsha p Johnson. I wrote to the organisers and corrected them and also stated why I find the term ‘queer’ problematic as an older LGB-er.

I did ballet for 10+ and I got honours for every exam I took. My ballet teacher was brutally unkind (one of the reasons I quit) - she would have absolutely crucified me if I’d performed like this. I also danced at RAD as a child. Standards & expectations were much higher then.

I can only speak from experience, but when faced with a distressed newborn fresh out of the womb, as a mother, my instinct was to breastfeed. And it settled them instantly. Even when minutes old. It was utterly instinctive. This baby is not able to have that. Heartbreaking.

The irony is that these rare cases are exactly why rigorously applied safeguarding rules have been developed. Women are required to adhere to these rules just as men are. Because no one is above suspicion. Women are not a sacred caste. Neither are trans people.

After a knee replacement, most dissatisfaction relates to unrealistic expectation post surgery, having it too early or OA not being severe enough to justify surgery. This info comes from rigorous long term follow up of 2 years + post op. The same rigour is not seen in gender ops.
