Mumsnet saved my sanity when my twins were stuck in NICU for months on end, the humour, care and support fromthe women there was my lifeline.
Mumsnet also gave me a place to remember my beautiful boy who was stillborn. So many amazing, caring, fierce women on that site.

My dear cat Gizmo is in her final hours. Not in pain, probably full of the rush of endorphins that come. Sleeping peacefully, but breathing shallow and temperature dropping. No vet that I can get her to to ease her passing. So I will stay with her until it comes.

No. No this is not about that. This is about the complex psychology of grief in the aftermath of losing a baby to stillbirth or neonatal loss. The importance of women being acknowledged as Mother’s to their lost babies plays a huge role in the grief process.
