I gave birth to my twins at one of the worst rated hospitals in the country and they injured my daughter and caused her to have a brain hemorrhage, left me to bleed out for 8 hours and gave me PTSD.

I'm not a baby person and I have 4! Love toddlers, love kids, but the baby stage I've always found tough. I start to enjoy it from 6 months and then more from around 12 months.
Its okay to not like the first stage, I found it anxiety inducing a lot of the time

I've had 3 and *personally* I don't find them painful. Like no pain meds 48 hours later walking around as normal, forgetting I've had one.

It's not an item as such but I made my kids "monster spray". It's water, a bit of vodka for preservation and some lavender essential oil. We spray it at night and monsters don't like the smell so they won't come in their room ๐ its worked better than "the dark isn't scary" talk
