@J_Lee_Design Many leads do not have good soft skills and emotional management. Many still derive their worth from their personal work instead of maximizing team output and wellbeing, this means they feel threatened by potential better artists which stifles art teams.

@Lasha3D are you trying to get a game industry job or? from a game perspective you need some technical shots like topology/uvs/textures and maybe some in engine assets or scenes, it seems that its mostly blender? otherwise i think you have good stuff but you need to cater it for games

Doing research on environment pipelines recently, trying to figure out a good way to create hero environment assets. Spent some time learning Gaea, will probably use this as either a heightmap or take it into brush to create proper meshes, lots to figure out. Gaea is great!

Its not much but its honest work. Something I am working in my spare time, I finally got the human AI to work decently enough that it can move and engage picking the best cover or if not available a point where the player is visible from. Still LOTS to do

@jaesekki I personally struggle with this but have found that having a regular schedule for creating, even if it just starts as 10 minutes a day. Just sit down, do whatever comes to you or do nothing but repeat this, over time this will help you focus on the doing rather than results

Morning practice with Gaea. Third image I tried the seamless node and the repeat node, will be cool to get it tiling in engine allowing me to do cliff walls easily, I can then easily edit variants to get variety across the wall

@moons_artwork I have found that this often stems from perfectionism, I would recommend starting slow with an habit of just doing the thing you are blocked on for even just 5 minutes a day, slowly increase it to a good amount without overdoing it.

Back and forth and feedback rounds, pipeline issues down the line, and often unknowns are not highlighted and accounted for in planning. Pipelines are almost always thought of as a straightforward arrow..
