The full control rig solution had some issues so this is using unreals to drive a camera bone then control rig for procedural motion (I’ve ramped it up a bit for this)

Two main things that tripped me up - the attach bone wasn’t in the generated retargeter so that was off in the retarget. Added a pin bone to match the original in the post settings. Also, it was failing to return a montage for traversal until I did this
When we were working on

a lot of people asked how we set up the “stop motion” stuff and it was complicated… control rig makes it a hell of a lot easier now so here’s a good start ⬇️
Added a nice tile system for the wall, more bounces on the robot and made a stop motion system.
The stop motion is done with
#ControlRig
in
#UE5
and works like a post process after calculating the poses.
