we became homeless while the economy was booming. people don't realize that millions are one health crisis/diagnosis away from homelessness even during an "economic boom". that boom isn't for the average person. it's for the wealthy.
I was a child living in poverty in the '90s during one of the biggest economic booms in this country, just like millions of kids. Our clothes, our food, our school supplies -- none of these were more accessible because the stock market was booming. Please don't fall for that.

We need your help. My husband works at a rural Idaho clinic. He sees pregnant women every day. Every one of them is at risk for losing their lives. It is unconscionable that we are facing this, President Biden. It’s horrific, heartbreaking, and enraging. What are you going to do?
Today’s Supreme Court order allows Idaho’s abortion ban to go back into effect, denying women emergency abortion care required by law.
These bans threaten women’s health, force them to travel, and make it harder for doctors to provide care.
