Adams Co., Iowa’s smallest by population, has apx 3500 peeps. About half of Iowa’s counties have less than 10,000 people. Hard to see private schools strengthening rural Iowa. Lack of children is the key driver.
When 42 of Iowa’s 99 counties don’t have private schools, it’s crucial that we keep tax dollars in our public school system.
That’s one way we can strengthen rural communities and set Iowa’s youth up for success.
