We currently have 4432 outages. Our linemen have been out all night clearing trees and hanging wire. This will be a lengthy process because of the damage we received. We are working as quickly and as safely as possible. Please stay away from any downed power line!

Our linemen have been out working since yesterday afternoon. We have 3940 outages remaining. We have 25 poles broken and numerous trees down on the power lines. Here are a couple of pictures from the outage on Hwy 7 south.

Due to the extreme cold, TVA has instituted step 50 of their Emergency Load Curtailment plan. NEMEPA will undergo rolling blackouts that will affect 5% of our members at a time. These blackouts will last approx 15 min. Do not report the outage unless it lasts more than 30 min.
