@BaroonV When RSS karyakartas intervene, they go to the grass roots in the constituency. Hence the new additional voters discovered by them and whom they get registered.

Glad some one raising this issue again . Few months ago , I didn’t get a bus to Bengaluru from Tiptur after waiting for 1 plus hr . Even few buses came , all are jam packed and no space to stand forget about seat . Then I got bus to Tumkur , with much difficulty hopped with push and got seat . I thought my misery got ended in Tumkur and expected bus . It turned out to be nightmare with long queue like this and more than 400 people in the queue just waiting for Non stop bus to Bengaluru ! It takes just 1 hr to reach Nagasandra metro station from there . To my shock , buses came from other districts so full and couldn’t even climb stares! All the buses in full out of capacity indeed . Unfortunately, joined for non stop . With me many kids , elderly having tough time standing the queue for the bus . Frequency started to dwindle and waited for good 1.5 hrs just for the bus . At last , one bus came , boarded the bus . I left Tiptur at 1.30 PM and reached Bengaluru @ 9PM ! Karnataka transport messed up big time !! That was the last time even I traveled to Tiptur using KSRTC . I haven’t seen such situation in my life . KSRTC red bus giving me nightmare to travel . Train always full and you have to book atleast 30 days in advance to get a confirmed ticket . Never got Waiting list ticket to confirm in my life from Tiptur to Bengaluru ..

Karnataka Govt, instead of incentivising public transport and discouraging private vehicles, is doing the exact opposite with the Metro Fare Hike. Bengaluru metro fares should be at par with other metros in the country. While commuters in Delhi pay ₹30 for a 12 km ride, Bengaluru will have to pay ₹60 - Double the amount. A 50% hike, with max fare going from ₹60 to ₹90 is totally unjustified. Hike in bus fares coupled with big metro fare hike puts burden on the wallet of people and discourages use of public transport. No other metro in the country charges this high, nothing beyond ₹60 and the hike is extremely steep. I request @OfficialBMRCL to re-look at fare revision, raise the non-fare revenue via ads, leasing of spaces for commercial use by studying the best practices across the metros. This is the only way to put Bengaluru fare chart on par with other metros in the country and not pressurise people for extra revenue.
