Public transport should be affordable, not a luxury! Many countries offer free transit—why is @OfficialBMRCL , @BMTC_BENGALURU and @KSRTC_Journeys hiking fares? This kills the spirit of public transport. #NammaMetro @CMofKarnataka

Street vendors are by NO means POOR. They pay 300-500 hafta daily depending on the venue & business. So around 10k-15k pm. They can very well afford shop rents. But for BBMP and police dept this is another revenue model (IYKYK) #FootpathBeku @BBMPCOMM @CMofKarnataka
Food trucks are great—offering diverse cuisines at reasonable prices. But where do they belong? On the #footpath? On the road shoulders? Or in designated spaces? Many of these trucks are no longer “mobile”—they have become permanent structures, occupying footpaths meant for #pedestrians. What started as a flexible vending model is now turning into an urban encroachment issue. Should the government regulate food trucks better? Can our cities balance street food culture with pedestrian rights? 📍Seen many such setups in our city. What do you think?

@kiranshaw every new policy is just the new beginning yet another bribe and corruption. Policies are meant to make govt employees rich. To sanction building plan you have to bribe, to get OC you have to pay bribe. So policy only burdens common man's pocket
