Finishes working on Friday night Man, I feel like I've had a productive week and I'm tired... *checks time entries* only 0.5 away from my billable goal for the week (I'm going to bill a couple hours tomorrow because I've got the work to do) Yay for having the work!

Great news! It worked and after 3 hours I got a draft off to the more senior associate to review so that we can maybe get it to the client to review today.

@BarExamTutor if i didn't get time off or reduced hours to study? no way. studying for the bar the first time without working nearly broke my mental health. maintaining my sanity is worth more than $20k per month

@dmc_dmcc I credit it to the fact that it was pounded into us when we were first using computers for school projects that you needed to confirm that the sources you were using were reliable. We were forced to think twice about where we were getting our information. It stuck forever.

here is a very silly thing to be annoyed about. the microsoft products on my work computer updated and they all look slightly different now. all my settings are the same, but the icons look just a little bit weird to my eyes.

Yesterday, I received the judgment for my first trial (bench trial in May). We lost, but it being my first trial and first lost stings particularly bad. We did everything we could, but we still feel like the it was the wrong outcome.

@WZG1889 some do...i have a severe distrust for this kind of thing so you better believe i am putting my ballot in the official machine myself
