@evanhill @oryxspioenkop All of the Western coverage so far has missed this aspect of the video. Before he shoots the Russian soldier, someone tells him to leave him like that (leave him to die). The soldier shoots him and says “I didn’t want to leave him like that.” It appeared to be a mercy killing.
