My wonderful husband & friend of 45 years came home from a Skilled Nursing Facility yesterday and passed away early morning. He just wanted to see his fur babies one last time.

He then proceeded to tell me that he felt bad though cause he used to cheat on her.

My husband is in the backyard getting some sun. I went to check on him as his Altzheimers has been really bad for a week. I heard him talking to his cat Andy. "Do I love mommy? I love her more now than ever." I had to go back in the house. I was crying too hard.

I get so pissed off when the Black Panthers are portrayed as a radical group who walked around with guns. The truth is they were protecting the community that had a high crime rate. The truth is they did a lot of good work: health clinics, free breakfast for kids, and more.

I used to take my first dog, Jojo, to the McDonald's drive-up window for a hamburger.
One day, I stopped at the bank drive-up window with him in the car. He got so crazy with happiness. I then realized he thought he was getting a hamburger. We made a detour on the way home.

My Dil called me one day from Fairbanks. When asked she said she was in front of the house but couldn't go in. She said there was a baby moose on the front steps and she had to wait till the moose mama took it away.
Yeah, we don't really have problems like that in California.

Yep. She loves kids so much she let her husband put them in cages and made fun of it with a jacket that said she doesnt care. Can you imagine a 1 yr old ripped from her mother's arms and left in a cage by herself?

My husband took off and I found him talking with neighbors. I was afraid he was bothering them.
They told me they know where he lives and they watch out for him. They said their Dad had Altzheimers. They said it takes a village. I embarrassed myself crying over their kindness.
