Kenya leads the EAC in diaspora remittances with $4.8B in 2024, according to @WorldBank data. Outpacing Somalia ($1.73B) & Uganda ($1.49B). The DRC & SS saw declines in inflows to ($1.35B) & ($1.14B) respectively. Tanzania, Rwanda, & Burundi remain under $1B ceiling.
