On Friday I received word that my dad died back in March.
In attempting to find out information, I have:
* Had someone apologise for using the incorrect pronouns (he/him rather than she/her).
* Had someone argue with me with "dont you mean mother?" And "it says here 'Female'".

From as far as I can tell, pregnancy kicked off my dad's behaviour but his "transition" (read: public dress wearing) happened when I was about 13.
His tantrum though, oooh boy. My advice is leave.

I've still never understood why a change in pronouns etc means one should be referred to as "mother" rather than "father".
