This is the Smithfield site next to the market in Bham city centre. Was the site for the Beach Volleyball in the Commonwealth Games. A lot of development near by with coach ST 2 mins away & tram link. Multi use stadium with roof ???

Fixtures are now out and if I can get tickets I will be cycling to the Bournemouth game which is close to 150 miles away to raise funds for the Aston Villa Foundation in celebration of the 150th anniversary of Aston Villa.

I grew up in B6 to & many of the things you say is correct but reports like this are very misleading to the issues in areas like Aston & also provoke dividing people. A few people are not the voice of everyone but the paper got the story it wanted.
