@tonkolili @dsengeh The monopoly is their to payback to corrupt politicians. Monopoly kills and stifles economic growth and innovation. The ordinary citizens will continue to suffer.

@MichaelBasita Agreed. Nations, especially in Africa, must learn to stand on their own. We have relied too long on this foreign breast milk called AID and refused to be weaned off it. The baby's teeth have grown strong and must be weaned into independence. Burkina Faso is showing its possible

@AfricanHub_ These are result driven policies from a so-called military junta. Not just empty rhetorics as we see in other nations in the sub region. Bravo au Burkina Faso!!

@SecRubio Is this the real reason for not attending the G20 meetings in South Africa, or is it because of South Africa's role in BRICS+? How is an internal land appropriation issue in SA against the US national interest? The war against BRICS is on, and it's real.

@ecowas_cedeao Congratulations to all 3 countries. Waiting for other countries in the region to have the courage to quit this crooked and corrupt club that is responsible for the impoverishment and recolonisation of our beloved continent. Reform ECOWAS

@AYVnews Does it really matter whether it's a utility vehicle or the Ambassador's vehicle? The bottom line is that a vehicle belonging to Sierra Leone's diplomatic mission in Guinea was impounded with drugs or contraband substance. Stop the spin, and let's get to the bottom of the issue

@FatormaS77162 @thomasd05987132 @kabba_timothy This is an irresponsible comment that speaks to how little minded some people are. This incident has nothing to do with tribe. North South, East & West, we are all one people. None is better than the other.

@Aconteh6 @ecowas_cedeao @ECsalone @officialABAT @JDMahama @TimKabba @UmaruFofana @BBCAfrica @BBCWorld @VOAStraightTalk @NDI Is this how the APC will spend the rest of Maada Bio's term in office?. If so, you have nothing to convince the public that you're a credible opposition. Stop wasting your time and start doing the business of a credible opposition. Come up with alternative policies to the SLPP.

@ProSierraLeone @aussiecossack I respect what you believe. That's okay. We are all here to learn. But, the Ukraine war did not start in February 2022. It started in 2014 after the so-called revolution that overthrew the democratically elected president.

@ProSierraLeone @aussiecossack Without a historical context, it is easier to be led to believing that Russia has just decided to invade a sovereign country out of whim. This is the lie the mainstream media is feeding every everyone. Russia is reluctantly fighting this war to defend its sovereignty.

@ProSierraLeone @aussiecossack It is wise to get the facts and understand world history before taking sides. Many countries in the global south have silently stayed neutral whilst doing business with Russia in solidarity. Ukraine is a Nato proxy in this dangerous war. Russia is fighting Nato in Ukraine.

@abdemata It's time for the APC to elect a new leader. Whatever way you look at it, Samura Kamara has lost two successive elections. He must now give way to a new breed of leaders for the APC to stand any chance in 2028. If the APC fails to make this hard choice now, no APC govt.

@AlphajorbaBah @PresidentBio Don't be surprised if Samura Kamara fails to respond to this urgent issue quickly. He will not respond because he has no answers that will appease his blind supporters. He has nothing to offer the country. It's high time the APC searched for a new leader to avoid another loss.

@AlphajorbaBah @yakisawyerr Samura Kamara knows he is beating a dead horse by calling for an election re-run. He is making this feable call to whip up support from the APC supporters that he has woefully disappointed. He has always been behind the curve on the pertinent issues in SL, and here he is again!

@AhmedKaikai5 @AlphajorbaBah @LibertyOnlineTV This is the silliest excuse I have ever seen. EBK left office over 6 years ago, and you still hold him responsible for current issues in the country. Let's think before posting, please. The current govt is solely responsible for upholding the laws of our country, not anyone else.

@AlphajorbaBah @BBCAfrica @ecowas_cedeao This is precisely the sort of news I had expected all along. ECOWAS is stuck in the past and does not serve the interest of present-day West Africa. We need to see more countries abandon this sinking Titanic. ECOWAS must reform now before it's too late.
