@lemarve @tonkolili I actually think perhaps that's not quite true. You can supply RB solar or generator today if it makes economic sense for them and you. At the end of the day and the truth is, EDSA tariff is cheaper (subsidized by govt)

Ethiopia’s former PM Hailemariam Desalegn @HMDessalegn, my friend/mentor, had an engaging technical deep dive with a cross-section of officials today. We spoke about leadership, collaboration, and systems approach to using agriculture as a vehicle for economic transformation.
Today, at State House in Freetown, President @julius_maadabio met with H.E. Hailemariam Dessalegn, @HMDessalegn, Board Chair of @AGRAAlliance, and former Prime Minister of Ethiopia. His visit highlights our commitment to #FeedSalone, focusing on food security, job creation, and economic growth. With a whole-of-government approach, we are boosting production, expanding mechanization, and strengthening value chains to make Sierra Leone self-sufficient and resilient.

We built Sports Zone about 4 years ago to be a safe place where young and older people from all backgrounds can play and be creative. It's since hosted international basketball matches, Drizilik and Telem shows, and more. Sports Zone is one of its kind, truly radically inclusive!

There are few things more magical than walking along the peaceful beaches in freetown with my kids. They get to meet ordinary citizens and hear their stories. As long as there's ice cream at the end...

Earlier this week, I joined the training sessions of 140 youth (men and women) representing every district in #SierraLeone to operate, service and repair agricultural machinery 🚜.This 90-day training comes at a critical time as prepare for the 2025 cultivation. Each trainee will receive a certificate, captured in our database and will be employable in mechanisation services sector across the country. With this training, we are changing individual lives and communities ,while addressing a critical gap in mechanisation services of the #FeedSalone flagship. In this second full year #FeedSalone Implementation we are shifting into high gear .Thanks to @AfDB_Group for the support through the SLARiS Project. #WeWillFeedSalone #foodsystems #mechanisation

Gbanaloko is a legend and the leading goalscorer for the Leone Stars national team. Yesterday, Rodney Strasser, another Leone Stars legend and former AC Milan player, and I went to visit Gbanaloko. We laughed, shared stories, and spoke about the welfare of professional athletes.

This current Parliament of Sierra Leone is the most representative ever. With 2 members under 30 an average age of 48 and the two eldest at 70, they look more like their constituents. Thank you, @PresidentBio, for ensuring this via 30% minimum for women. #WeAreDelivering
