I am an IMG and this is very true. I was talking to one of the chairman’s of an obgyn residency in Puerto Rico and he says that eventually Step 2 will also be pass/fail. If it’s worse for IMG’s now, I can’t imagine how will it be in the future.

If a resident says you can leave early because nothing is going on (excluding a subI), say thank you and leave. You can take that extra time to rest, grocery shop, work out or even study!
