Intensive outpatient is also a very good alternative to inpatient if you can't/won't go. You go in like 3 times a week for a few hours each time. You have a whole team of support working on your case + group therapy. And you have more freedom because you're not sleeping there.

It's also not just the sessions, it's them + all the admin work. So if I said 6 hours/week was too much work, of course that's silly. But that's not what it is! I've worked 40-60 hours/week for regular jobs before and been fine. That's easier imo because you clock in and out.
