It is 100% a Black issue. Chris Rock would NEVER make a joke about a white nominee’s white wife’s health problems like that if they white. Will Smith could NEVER walk up on stage and hit a white man. Will Smith and Chris Rock are both Black men and on an equal social level.

The origin story is a little lame? It came at a time when Marvel didn’t really want to embrace other cultures. The take the showrunner had was “what if we did Moonknight and embraced Egyptian lore!” Which isn’t really that embraced in the comics. I loved it.
