That's a good point, I just can't see why Uber with their incredible value now would not transfer their business into owning and operating autonomous vehicles Drones and Ev helicopters (JOBY) - your removing the human component (Cost) for Autonomy and building assets (Vehicles) plus building a moat around your value proposition. I still feel I'm positioned very well being Long Tsla Joby Uber

@WilliamR561 @jorgemilburn Yes I agree that's why I'm long both. Tesla has already stated they will be selling the cabs so I see a world where both thrive.

@richardkoo @jorgemilburn EVs have very little maintenance, simple warehouse concept to roll in and out clean and charge costs would be very low compared to their current driver overhead.

This seems pretty easy IMHO, you eliminate all driver related costs and you have a warehouse somewhere that will house and maintain these cabs. Would be a lot cheaper than an army of Uber Drivers driving their own cars etc... I also see branding opportunities for UBER partners on the cabs themselves.
