@WholeMarsBlog The offer to openAI is the first half of FAFO. Elon will get a good laugh even if nothing comes out of it.

@MJSmith190 @jorgemilburn To address your question, Uber has to transition from having no physical cars to operating, running, maintaining a fleet. That is a big transition.

@7Kiwi I was near Beijing last October/November. The air was bad 40% of the time (bad enough the air quality app was advising people to stay indoors). If this was an improvement, it was way more awful before.

@adamhousley @DOGE @elonmusk Capitol Hill is a separate branch of the government though. Besides, @doge needs to pick its targets carefully to find the biggest savings. Capitol Hill is probably a small potato compared to others.

@dr_andrealove @the_real_jdizzy At Harvard, there are at least twice as many administrators & staff as professors. The university should lower this ratio before complaining about a cut of the indirect costs because administrators & staff don’t do research.

@Kevin_McKernan There are at least twice as many administrators & staff as professors. If Harvard would lower the ratio to 1:1, then we can talk about a reasonable indirect cost ratio.

@MarioNawfal California the state has to change before businesses want to come back to LA or the state. The state has been insanely indifferent to business developments in recent decades.

@Austen The primary goal is to save 1 trillion a year. The headcount reduction is secondary and means to the goal.
