Today I reached 69 years old. Many times throughout 2023 it looked like I'd forever remain 68. This is a hard thing to admit, to say in public, to reveal weaknesses I fight desperately to keep hidden. No advice please. Just a nice Happy Birthday would help more than you know.

In one of *my* subs to our group, I wrote a sex scene from the woman's POV. Her voiced concern over a non-sex issue caused the guy to go soft during the act. This same male CP commented, "A woman can feel that?"

Directors, producers, etc. accommodate NT *diva* behavior from actors/actresses all the time. Behavior the NT *chooses*. It's the norm in their industry. Yet they could make no accommodation for an autistic actor? I'll just let that sit here.

Went to the ER. ER nurse grabbed my custom cane so I could step on scale. Then she *leaves the room with my cane in hand* while shouting over her shoulder, "Follow me." Reported her. Huge apology from hospital & assured her supervisor will speak with her.

As an adult, I state: I don't respond to yelling. Then I walk away, shaking uncontrollably.
Hubs has never yelled at me. I still fight the shaking if he's loudly upset w/something else.

Doesn't matter what Mallory signed or that this woman had a medical disclaimer at the beginning. She still charged for the class and proceeded to give medical advice during the class. In answer to the medical questions, she should have said: Ask your doctor.

In about 10 hours, hubs will drop me off at hospital's door and drive away. They'll put me under, breathe for me, remove a defective body part, and bring me back.
Daughter asked if I was scared. Truthfully, no.
But I'm really counting on the "bring me back" part.

No. The issue is accommodation, in whatever form. NT actors choose diva actions in my example. We (ND) do not choose whatever it is we need for accommodation. Yet NTs are accommodated with no question. Another (huge) example: working from home/pandemic. Accommodation.
