Likely to be found in Derby, London or Oslo. Less of a London Ram than I once was. Heart still always at the Baseball Ground. Treasurer @capitalrams.

Either we’ve got a really exciting new manager lined up and ready to go right away, or this is a clown show for the ages from #DCFC. Let’s see. I struggle to see another option having let Warne do yesterday’s press conference and with tomorrow’s match so close.

@WestSussexRam @phillowe1 One of our London Rams met Ron a few years back, and asked for his autograph. Ron said “I can’t remember [the glory years] anymore”, and the immediate response was “well we’ve not forgotten you, Ron” - beautifully put. Very best wishes to Ron and his family.

An optimum visitor experience with pleasing range of audio-visual stimulation, as Ron might have said. @F1MikaHakkinen’s McLaren still looks fast. Just need a @TheBishF1 editorial and @PeterDWindsor race report and I’d be transported back 25 years.

@SteveBloomerPod Excellent servant. But I shall mostly remember my then 7 year old son, whilst reading a book about Kylian Mbappé, sighing and saying to me “I just wish there was a book like this about James Collins”. Bless youthful enthusiasm and your first heroes!

@SirQuinno Agreed. The pint of Brains SA I had in the Red Lion, Ripley yesterday was absolutely perfect.

@Britainbeermat Was doing the same earlier - on Red Arrow now! - and thought the Magpie Best was excellent.

@TheBishF1 Absolutely. Please do check out @tubemapper’s work if you aren’t already aware of it - he does a lot of wonderful photography across the Underground network.

This now becomes my all-time favourite New Statesman piece and the only one ever to have caused me to laugh out loud on the Northern Line…

In this sequel, chock-full of fighting, Ridley Scott lets his appetite for elaborate action scenes run wild. 🍿 David Sexton reviews Gladiator II

@colin_gibson160 Particularly enjoyed this in today’s Observer - suggests Lee has retained a wry sense of humour as interim manager!

@RichTaylor85 @MsRachelCooke At a real push in the East Midlands I think - definitely more likely a “cob” round here! Great article, Rachel, and entirely agree re. the sentiment.

Well done @derbymuseums and @DerbyCAMRA - @DerbyCAMRAFest was excellent. Great venue, and great selection of beers.

@tony_jardine I am fairly sure I remember watching in awe as a boy when you produced a notepad and paper to demonstrate a point with some live sketching on ITV! Those were the days!

@StymieSi @stevehalderby Get yourself round the corner to George’s for your fish and chip tea and you’ll be sorted! (For a non-tick before the train home and if chauffeuring is still available, I suspect the Little Brewing tap room on Alfreton Road will be in the guide next year.)

Built, not build. I’m not paying this hellsite for Premium to edit this. Did I tell you how good Oxford’s beer scene was…?

@TheBishF1 @Motor_Sport Fantastic, thank you - and I can’t believe this was 25 years ago. I recall following practice sessions using basic live timing on a dial-up modem. How times change!
