1) we need to throw out of our minds the idea that rape is about force. It isn't.
2) Gen speaking, when individuals allege rape, we should be inclined to believe them w/o acting hysterically against rights of accused. It's a difficult balance to strike.
There are two men claiming they were raped by Hameed Haroon. I have a question: how can a grown man be raped by another individual? Couldn't they have fought him off. Hameed is not athletic at all. One punch in the solar plexus should have done it.
Or were these men willing?

In a case which I've pursued for 4 yrs, 7th judge took charge only to adjourn the case.
In another case which was registered in 2015 & accused is behind bars since for no good reason except that there's an FIR against him, no progress took place due to absence of witnesses.

Consular access is not an abnormal thing but a requirement under international law.
I'm defending a dual national client in a case with possible death penalty. On the other country's request immediate consular access was granted. It has to be unsupervised or it's meaningless.

It is not understandable why is the court not directing military authorities to bring Idrees Khattak to the court room.

Imagine Shahzad Akbar came all the way to Lahore to support him. Wah!
The police officer who said that the motorway rape victim should not have travelled on that route at night repeats his stance and adds that she (the woman raped in front of her children) thought this was France. And PM Imran’s right hand man, Shehzad Akbar, defends him!

I am standing outside a court room in lahore high court with dozens of lawyers & litigants. All kinds of cases are listed for hearing. My case relates to ECL thus urgent. The court room is full to capacity ao that one can't breathe. Perfect environment to catch

Islamabad courts are closed except for urgent cases until April 5. This is a necessary measure. Hope other courts in the country follow ASAP. Our very crowded courts are high risk areas and so far it's been business as usual.
