We need more federal support for high speed rail to connect urban hubs. Imagine what LA to San Diego would be like with a fast train!
Today, there will be 50 flights each way between Boston and NYC. The Acela, our “high-speed” rail service, has 4 each way and takes nearly 4 hours. Rail between these metros could be under 2 hours and as frequent if we were serious about climate change.
