Interesting how they used that pic from the 2021 LA Times article about me to depict rise of crime on transit… 🤔 In that pic, I was talking to a rider who had trouble navigating the LA Metro system!
Hi everyone. Wanted to share that my mom had a stroke and was admitted to the hospital. She’s in stable condition. Please continue to keep our family in your prayers. Thank you so much. 🙏🏽🥺😞😭
Many of you have asked about my post-graduation plans. 🎓
Wanted to share that in two weeks, my family will be moving from Glendale, CA to Providence, RI to be closer to my sister & brother-in-law! 🏙
Feeling mixed emotions but ready for a brand new chapter 🥺🤓
Finally met my bà ngoại (maternal grandma in Vietnamese) in person during my first Vietnam trip in 2019!! She was born & raised in the Hải Lăng district of Quảng Trị Province in Central Vietnam. She's 95 this year and I miss her so much! 🥹💕
What LA Metro did last night was completely unacceptable. Not only did LA Metro leave riders stranded after shutting down service, but they also transported protestors to jail. This is not what
#publictransit
is meant for! 😡
Ending the week on a high note:
@peopleforbikes
just named our very own South Water Street as one of its "Five Best New Bikeways" nationally! 😍
Find out why they are saying it's "far more than just a bike lane."
I am super grateful for this incredible opportunity to share about my deep passion for transit! Thank you so much,

If we applied international practices to the San Bernardino Line, one could easily live in San Bernardino and commute to Los Angeles in under 45 minutes (and vice versa). We really don't grasp how transformative frequent high-speed rail would be in this country.🚆🌴

Very disappointed. Seems like the conservative majority on the Culver City City Council doesn’t care about safer streets for active transit users 😡🤦🏻♂️
Mayor
@AlbertVeraJr
and his 2 colleagues just voted to ELIMINATE THE PROTECTED BIKE LANE to add more car lanes despite electeds across the state, 32 organizations, 20 Culver City students, the threat of a CEQA lawsuit, and an avalanche of public comments urging him to lead.
Hi everyone. My dad suddenly had a minor stroke on Friday evening and was admitted to the hospital. He’s back home now and is feeling better.
Thank you everyone for your prayers and wishes 🥺🙏🏽
Wanted to share that my dad had a stroke last Friday. STR from high school physiology class (Smile, Talk, Raise) helped me recognize that he had one. He has been discharged & is recovering. Special gratitude to the

I’m living with immunocompromised parents and want to protect them! I’m also protecting myself and others around me. Leave me alone!! 😾
Folks who tell me to shut up & become further ignorant w/ every comment I make supporting Bus Rapid Transit & bus lanes: I won’t be silenced. I will keep on advocating for equitable, efficient transit and

I originally started a Twitter account in 2016 to tweet about the sitcom Fresh Off the Boat but soon decided to also show my love for transit.
It became a space where I shared transit adventures across Los Angeles and Southern California. 🚌🚆🏙️🌴
I regret showing off my new TAP Flex wrist band on the NUMTOT Facebook group. Some people told me to just use my wallet or phone to pay. Others commented that the TAP Flex is “nice for disabilities.” Just leave me be. Why can’t they just let me be happy with this. 🙄
That’s it. I’ve had enough of this semi-toxic meeting environment. I provided my support for bus lanes on Nordhoff St. on the charrette. Some folks told me that I’m wrong to think that way. Just b/c they’re older than me doesn’t mean they can silence my thoughts. 😡

Hi everyone! Now that my family is situated in PVD, I’m ready to look for an entry-level (hybrid preferred) job. I’m passionate about public & active transit, transit advocacy, community outreach, and sustainability.
If anyone has any leads, please send me a DM. Thank you! 🙏🏽
Christmas feels different this year after mom’s stroke but I’m truly grateful to be celebrating together! 🥹🎄❤️
From our family to yours, Merry Christmas and happy holidays! 🥰
A Metro bus operator said “No fare, no ride” to an elderly rider earlier and it broke my heart to see the rider looking for 75 cents in his bag to put into the farebox. 😔
Ready to embark on a cross-country road trip to move from Glendale, CA to Providence, RI. Gonna miss SoCal lots and lots but I’ll be back someday! 🥺🤗🚙🏙
After dealing with my dad’s stroke last March, it’s now even more difficult to see how a stroke has affected my mom.
All I know is that it’s important to continue to support her and always be by her side on the road to recovery. 💪🏽
I love you lots, mom 🥺❤️
I started 2023 with a job rejection, my grandma’s death, and my mom’s major stroke. The compounding stress and emotions took a toll on my mental health. My loved ones recommended that I seek therapy. It’s been a month since I began therapy and it’s been very helpful.🥺🙏🏽
She also said that “poor people will only use this service.” After I told her that I rely on public transit to get to CSUN, she told to me to “get a car and that I’m a joke.” Definitely going to write an e-mail to Metro about this experience. 😡
Great I’m now being called out as a gentrifier for supporting the future Metro North Hollywood-Pasadena BRT traveling along Colorado Blvd. in Eagle Rock instead of along the 134 freeway 😐😑🤦🏻♂️
Hi everyone, wanted to share that my mom has been discharged from the hospital & is continuing to recover from her stroke at a rehab center 🥹 We’ll always be right by her side on the road to recovery 🥰✊🏽
