@hmholistic1 @PierrePoilievre And I'm not saying that fentanyl isn't a problem, only that It has zero to do with the US. Same with immigration. More people go from the US to Canada than vice versa. And the premise that the US needs to force Canada to have a conversation about possible remedies is asinine.

@FireInTheMindCA @RealRicCameron @brianlilley You think that within 5-10 years, there will be 'low-scale conflict between ethnic enclaves' in Canada? And you think the Canadian govt wouldn't be able to stop it? I'd love to understand the basis for such an unusual belief.

@hmholistic1 @PierrePoilievre There is no 'audit' of the US govt going on. Nor is there any transparency. As for the concept of 'DEI propaganda', please explain (in detail) why you think that diversity, inclusion, and equity are negative ideas. What, explicitly, don't you like about it?

@hmholistic1 @PierrePoilievre 3. You want to increase Canadian military spending? Just tell Canadians, in precise detail, what is being cut and how much taxes will be increased to cover it.

@hmholistic1 @PierrePoilievre 1. Fixing any US fentanyl crisis has NOTHING to do with Canada. 43 pounds in FY24. Compared to 20K pounds on their southern border. 2. Trump signed a deal. No reason to negotiate just because he whines. He is clueless about economics.

@mrransomx @JasonSouthwell @Jed_Rubenfeld It doesn't take a constitutional scholar to know that the checks and balances defined within the Constitution don't put the executive out of reach of judicial authority.

@hmholistic1 @PierrePoilievre More people/fentanyl come into Canada from the US than the other way around. There is nothing wrong with a trade deficit. The US could eliminate it, if they want, by not buying (and profiting from) Canadian oil. This is a crisis made-up by an orange toddler.

@Charles0084 @stephen_taylor So you're suggesting that Carney is playing 4D chess? And that Trump is so reliable that you can build a political strategy based on his responses.

@stephen_taylor So...you're a supporter of Trump's proposal? Is it a violation of your principles to agree with the message without denigrating the messenger? One of the challenges the CPC faces is that Canadians question whether they are all in on Canada right now.

@brianlilley And the leader of the opposition has said 'bring back parliament so we can vote out the PM'. Not sure why you think a general election against a major party without a leader is a better situation.

@RealRicCameron @brianlilley Spoken like someone who has never visited a 'failed state'. The country is not 'compromised'. It's not perfect, but it's a functioning democracy, a condition that, at the moment, sits in contrast to our southern neighbour.

@2A_VET @brett0769 @allenanalysis The paperwork would say, "Joe Blow has security clearance blah, blah, blah". I'm not looking for the application. I'm looking for the documents that say the Muskovites can be crawling around govt databases.

@2A_VET @brett0769 @allenanalysis Indeed. Most of Trump's cabinet has them. But that would be paperwork, no? That's what I keep coming back to. Where is the paperwork? Where is the proof that they have interim clearances? The fed govt doesn't operate by word of mouth. There would be a paper trail. Where is it?

@EddyMac87 @brett0769 @allenanalysis Not to mention that a piece of paper with his seal is going to get you nowhere. Do you believe you show security a piece of paper and you get in? That the guards will say yessir and step aside? You're dreaming.
