@LeaMaric
I don't even have kids yet, and I'm thinking of ways to make the world a better place for them. This blows my mind. I couldn't even make it through the whole video.
@xgigglypuff
The answer is b if you exclude energy conservation. The answer is A if you exclude relativity. The question is which one is less true in this fictional scenario.
@SantsPliego
Also I've noticed that because younger men are less assertive it takes a long time for women to change their mind on things. Most younger women I meet are absolutely stunned that I'd tell them they're wrong about anything.
@davidbelle_
Most health smoothies have 85 grams of sugar too. The beauty of going to a brick and mortar restaurant is that they don't have to show you the nutrition facts up front.
@TheFulvousFox
I love the commentary and all, but once you assume that most people haven't read the bible or attended a serious religion class, the world starts to make a lot more sense.
I realized this when multiple people told me that it's okay to have multiple wives because King David did
@RRR0BYN
Complications don't start significantly increasing until 32 and are barely significant at 36 from when I last checked. Keep in mind that this doesn't include other factors like being in good health and having prior pregnancies.

The wife had her lawyer release it after Steven went on air and talked about the divorce in the worst way possible. She was defending herself with receipts because she didn't have the same platform that he did.
@WholeMarsBlog
Carbon is such a small portion of the atmosphere that we measure it in parts per million, but it's the only thing we talk about when it comes to global temp.
@dyingscribe
When you're walking in on Crack babies, domestic violence, suicide, and gun fights for a living, something in you breaks. I've heard about cops quitting and going to therapy because they felt nothing when seeing some awful scenes.
I have a cop friend who has a rule, if you ask to
@Jonathan_Blow
It's almost always not. This is like when they said they genetically modified babies to be immune to HIV, and it turned out they were full of it.
Or when they said they cut poverty in half when they really only dropped the poverty line down to ~$1 a day.
@p8stie
It has more protein than steak or chicken.
It doesn't have the same spread of nutrients, but when you're trying to hit your max protein during the day and you're in a crunch, it's a really good and flavorful option.
@hollowearthterf
@RarerNo
Most people around the world really do stop producing lactase as they get older, but there are a lot of other reasons why someone might not be able to handle milk. My wife for example does a lot better on A2 milk than regular.
We haven't been able to try raw yet, but she had it
@DrawsMiguel
Linus didn't adopt c++ because it sucks. He's even said security is a much lower priority than changing user space, which rust ironically promised and then renege on.
Rust is less safe, and slower than Zig on serious low level, high performance code.
Rust depends on Zig for

Communism is a fantasy thought up by people who fantasized about power and robbing everyone blind. Fantasies, especially ones like that, are toxic and destructive in unimaginable ways.
@Jonathan_Blow
Your view of things is like a breath of fresh air in an industry where too many people incourage devs to do worse.
I started working in environments that ended up teaching me awful ways to code with awful technologies being the pennicle of development, and it made me absolutely
@pravdapolina
It's bad, but it's not cheating and divorce is not a prudent punishment. This is like saying addiction is a disease. Addiction is bad but you didn't catch it, and it operates in a different way.
@jamonholmgren
Semicolons make parsing easier, and simplify language grammer. It's the reason dart doesn't have optional semicolons even though it's their second most requested feature.
I've also never understood why people think it's that important to not have semicolons.
@smcroasters
The cop got called for aggressive dogs.
Then a dog ran up to him when he was an entire house away from him. It's one thing to say he made the wrong decision, it's another to tell him to fuck off.
@luke_pighetti
I went from a decade of iphone usage to Android, and feature wise it's amazing. I considered switching back for privacy and coherance with my laptop, but Apple always finds a new way to piss me off.

@Stone_tossers
That was Jefferson, but in all fairness, we didn't have a navy when Washington was president.
It was also a decision made after multiple attempts at peace and a read through of the Koran, both of which convinced Jefferson they'd never stop attacking.
@LeaMaric
19k is about how much my wife and I paid off for our schooling.
11k is also about the cost of a car that won't breakdown beyond repair in two years.
Schools and school subsidies are out of control and it's ridiculous that cities are unwalkable.
@htmx_org
I don't understand. I feel like for most data intense sites, anything that brings the database closer to the front end is a good thing, and I haven't even been lucky enough to use HTMX.
@PstafarianPrice
I have a lot of left-wing friends that I'd never date because I didn't want to find out.
I can also predict which of my wife's friends will break up based on politics. Politics reflects an integral part of people's lives now.
@ryanjfleury
Zig's build system is far easier and not all that fancy because it uses the actual language you're programming in.
It makes everything else feel more complex for no particular gain.
@patfkauffman
He's used his usual business practices and improved upon some things most importantly human trafficking and unreasonable bans.
As far as technical performance goes I'd bet good money Twitter will be better in the future but we honestly don't know right now.
@user84829272
It also wasn't both of them. It was just crowder. I could never imagine myself saying I don't love you to my wife just because I'm mad. If anything, she was trying to hold it together. Painful.
@WarrenInTheBuff
If there's one thing I've learned from living in New Orleans, is that you want to generate your own power and filter your own water if you can afford it.
People will pay like 6k just for an at home water filter down there.
@kettanaito
It has improved js. Like in what world is faster buildtimes, runtimes, consistent ui, cross platform scripting engine, and an all in one bundler a bad thing. It is also written in Zig which will make life way easier in the future.
You're faulting bun for having an actual
@SpencerKlavan
Someone should imitate this, but instead of trying to say something impactful, inspirational, and cringe, they should just quote biden and kamala.
Just listened to this, and wow. What a fantastically simple idea.
Preallocate memory for an incoming message
Received an incoming message
Never deallocate
Process and finish the request
Deallocate everything
I think this is safer, simpler, and quicker to use Zig, and this method
@Goodtweet_man
Yes. I just told my wife to stop making curry and dumplings because Twitter said it was gross. I've also stopped buying my mother in law wiskey because we might enjoy ourselves too much.
@webdevcody
Funny, I was thinking the same about the people who pushed it.
I think I'm done listening to people get offended as if they were slaves over inoffensive things.
