@mrlurvy
I was the goalkeeper of IICC and he wanted me in Abiola Babes FC. I told him I wanted to go back to school. He was happy and gave me cash of N3000 then, an amount I have never held in my life.
Dropped football after and headed for the banking hall.
Great philanthropist.
@woye1
You are right.
I was once one of them before relocating home finally though not from Ogbomosho. I speak Twi, Fante and Nzema fluently like Yoruba.
@chude__
I was born in Ghana and schooled to Secondary school level before coming back to Nigeria. It was in Middle School I was taught West African history where I learned the Ga people known as Nkran migrated from Ile-Ife. You can pick a few Yoruba from the Ga language. Deceive no one
@TuwaSamson
If there is anything more than blocking you, it would have been justified. Read over what you wrote again and may be you will understand it better.
Not good enough.
@allibaloo
Igbos don't queue for food but they queue for kerosene from their state governor. Atimes we jump on social media to pass comments without gathering our facts well. He probably has forgotten what governor Ikpeazu did.
@kc_journalist
@woye1
Congratulations to Mr. Taiwo Oyedele of PWC. President Tinubu has the eyes to fish for the best.
Just as I had considered him for an appointment in this government.
@MercyEgbai
This is the way we show love and how we were raised. We are very proud of our background. The reason we are united in love and never found in the drug world and any criminality.
@MarkOsuchukwu
The stellar woman who was discovered by a Yoruba that gave her appointment and brought her into prominence.
The same person who was rejected by her people when contesting for election in her state and whose life and that of her husband were terminated by her people. What a shame.
@FS_Yusuf_
I have been in Lagos for 31 years before and after he became a governor and I know the difference. No one is impoverished here but doing well in their businesses and the more reason your people keep flowing into Lagos everyday in their hundreds to tap from its goodness.
@steve_hanke
Taking position from your very distant location to see what is going on in Nigeria. We are pleased with what Buhari's leadership has done.
We have equally spoken in one voice as to who we want to take over from him.
Deal with issues in your country and respect our sovereignty.
@DeleMomodu
There are no "voluntary slaves". Just as you have a preferred candidate you speak copiously for, the same applies to them. It is when you get hit by their comment that you apply derogatory words for them. Are you doing yours gratuitously or for a reward?
For the guy doubting l ever played for IICC:
1. Being introduced to Late Chief Mokolade Gbolagunte in our match with Township Rollers of Botswana April 1981.
2. Being introduced to Guest of Honour by Late Madushiru Lawal in our match with Bata Bullets of Malawi.
3. Others.
@9geriaNitemare
@chude__
I was taught West African history while I was in the Middle School in Ghana. It was there I learned the Ga people (Nkran) migrated from Ile-Ife.
You can pick some few Yoruba words from the Ga people. E.g, what we call Toro (three pence), they call it Tro.
@Afcmex
The best football manager I have ever known. His expertise is not limited to the pitch but back office with management strategic focus and execution.
@abdullahayofel
With about 30 years banking experience as an engineer?. Some people lack rudimentary analysis of social and economic issues around them. Must one be an economist at all cost to be a CBN governor?
It is more about the individual and not only the qualification.
@AdaAnambra2023
@officialABAT
Indeed, I am happy for this woman who scaled many hurdles to become the APC Women Leader.
Her role, brilliance, indefatigability and strength displayed by covering all the campaigns so commendable.
I wish her success in her new assignment when confirmed.
@DeeOneAyekooto
This is what true leadership demonstrates.
Though tribe and tongue may differ, in brotherhood we stand.
God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
@MobilePunch
Congratulations Chef Dammy. You have fulfilled your aim and I wish you greater heights in life.
Doing this in the remote part of Ekiti isn't a small effort without the pomp and panoply of cosmopolitan environment.
Well done.
@dammypas
@PO_GrassRootM
Please bring out the numbers you are hiding for everyone to see . You failed to contest any figure in the courts. Let's see the breakdown of your numbers. Haba!
@abdullahayofel
This happened under someone's reign as a leader.
May we be remembered for good. If the enabling environment was not created, we can imagine what the nation would have lost to another country.
God bless PMB.
God bless Lagos State.
God bless Nigeria.
@Mario9jaa
Quite instructive and stimulating. You can't hear this kind of assurances and play behind. Thanks to the 8.7million Nigerians that preferred this president to others. We shall all reap the benefits of making this right choice.
@PastorMarvy
And by the time children of multiple confused values (MCV) make their comments on this, they will never think of how tolerant we are about religion in Yorubaland.
We are always blessed and may we remain blessed forever.
@Dipo_Bello
@woye1
But destiny destroyers in their scathing remarks would claim the economy is on a fall, companies and industries closing down.
What adorns the stretch from from Berger to Ogere will give you a different story.
Jobs and more jobs along that stretch.
@beninghone
They are the richest and they developed Lagos with their investments.
I can't find their names on this list. Currency notes don't make noise but coins will almost deafen you.
@manshegzy
Motivational Speakers will excite you with their words. When you get home, you ask why?
Motivational Teacher will excite you with their teachings.
When you get home you hold what will define you for life.
The lady has just spoken, now left to you to make your choice.
@OsosaChris
Largest billionaire? The real billionaires don't make noise, they don't play to the gallery, they don't unduly flaunt wealth.
That are happy, they are quiet, they are reasonable and they respect wealth.
@OpeyemiAkande14
Do you say they have nothing in Ogun State? Are you aware Ogun harbors more industries in Nigeria today than any other state? Ogun has more tertiary institutions than any other state in the country.
Please, make your research very well and withdraw that statement.
@ogundamisi
Only God can imagine the pains
@SEzekwesili
has passed through before and after her candidate was thrashed to a distant third position in the last presidential election.
The pains will continue for long and she can decide to remain an immigrant where she is and still keep wailing
@DeeOneAyekooto
Why are some people attacking him for posting this information? He has made a research which you have failed to carry out. Leave him to his page and if you are hurt by it, please, pass.
For we that we are interested let's deal with it and relate it to our economy.
@AfripinionC
@9geriaNitemare
Don't forget many of us are married to Igbos. Let's be careful of this nature of information dissemination.
I don't think it has gotten to this level.
God bless Nigeria.
@OsosaChris
Exactly where they are hiding. I have always asked them to release the result they have in their custody which they have failed to do.
INEC was smarter and Yakubu broke their backbone.
They wanted to use the IREV to install their candidate who does not know what BVAS is.
Kai!
@toluogunlesi
@jidesanwoolu
@dabiodunMFR
And thanks to Senator Abiru who said contract for the Ikorodu-Itokin Road has been awarded and work will start soon. I pray Governor Abiodun will also take it up from there.
God bless Ogun State.
God bless Lagos State.
@funshographix
The interpretation here is something to be proud of. At the time Ibadan was using corrugated iron sheets as we have it here, they were using thatched roofs in their various towns and villages. The reason Ibadan is always the 1st.
@StFreakingKezy
Because his enterprise risk management was faulty. He never knew his limits. Just as we have in big organizations, we also have in small outfits.
The size and nature of an enterprise defines it.
@VictorIsrael_
The 8.7 million that voted him over and above your choice candidate have never denied doing so.
14 more days to the glorious moment.
God bless Nigeria.
@jimidisu
Nigeria will never collapse. Whoever is having the thoughts of the collapse of this nation or supporting it will never live to see the glorious moments of the country.
@PastorMarvy
The funds to embark on all these project were sitting comfortably in the balance sheet of some banks to grow that bank at the detriment of the people.
What a selfish and wicked way of governance to leave citizens impoverished.
@mamatii001
@ShehuSani
Unfortunately, our people are quick to place information of this nature to denigrate the state of the nation's currency. However, they fail to consider the purchasing power parity (PPP) of the Naira like you have said of the bread.
A big loaf of bread from Jendol Stores is N950.
@ONsogbu
A friend of mine bought a one&half plot of land at Pedro Lagos for N1.3m in 2001. He recently sold it for N47m to buy a 4bedroom duplex.
Every economic situation has its shocks and absorber.
@DayoOjo
@olumidecapital
I want to disagree. If transactions passing through them is seen not to be in the interest of the public, the CBN has that right to issue such instructions pending when they have fully investigated such transactions.
@Arsenalnewschan
His pair with Pierre-Emerik Aubameyang was so effective with goal delivery at Dortmund and that brought the duo to continue the same at Arsenal by Arsenal Wenger.
@jimidisu
Your frustration on everything about Tinubu and this government will linger till 2031. He will later come back home to Lagos to take his rest after he has put Nigeria on the right footing.
For now, keep demonstrating your frustration.
@PO_GrassRootM
We are all under the same law, either military or civilian and no one is exempted from being dealt with breaching the law. Impunity is part of our bane of progress and must be addressed without favouritism.
If this is how you would have run your government, we rejected it .
@DOlusegun
This president is brilliant and may the Lord continue to strengthen him in all he is doing to take this nation to greater heights.
God bless Nigeria.
@PO_GrassRootM
How do you win an election and you can't produce the figure with which you won at the election tribunal? Instead, you are contesting whether a candidate is qualified to run or not. I still don't understand.
@The_socialistt
Much as I like his person and analysis on issues, the moment I saw that in him and not being objective any longer, I stopped following him including the family listening to him every morning on the various radio stations.
His main followers are now mainly OBIdiots.
@woye1
@PeterObi
Thank God our economy is not in the hands of this man. Thanks to Nigerians that exercised that due diligence to avoid the bullet.
God bless Nigeria.
@jeffphilips1
Nature would have been very unfair to us if this man had won the presidential election.
I would have relocated to TAF Estate, Beach Road, The Gambia. There, I won't think about him at all.🤣🤣🤣
@duchessmabboud
Obi and Lamba! He accompanied the US president on a trip and he stayed in the hotel.
Hmmmm..... A big thanks to the 8.7 million Nigerians that did justice to democracy.
@jagabanolu
@PeterObi
He can throw jabs at the sitting president the way he likes, and desecrate the country he has the intention to rule because he failed. The difference between him and the president he is mocking is the reason he was rejected at the poll if actually he possesses these attributes.
@DOlusegun
@saglev
Many don’t know that Ikorodu is the 5th largest city in the South West and the 12th largest city in Nigeria.
The city is currently inhabiting many companies and keeps expanding in size and population. Current population is a little above 1 million and projected to hit 1.7 by 2035
@SamAmadi
Who was the Accountant General of the state during the period and what happened? You generate issues and makes one look askance as to whether you gave a deep thought before clicking the sent button.
@allibaloo
Very right. You see it better going by road to Ghana until you almost get to Lome. Beautiful beaches with lovely sceneries. But because the critics here have never seen anything of such, all they do is to try and kill what they don’t know.
