The idea that two Christian individuals will get married and not mix resources in terms of money is shortchanging the family as a whole. Yes, they will each have progresses here and there but it cannot be compared to a prayerfully implemented joint family venture. Yes, things are changing, divorce rate is high, some men and women no too get sense like that, etc. But where possible and sensible, joint ventures is great.
