Today we found out that Chris got a place at the top Grammar school in our region. Couldn’t be more proud. He’s worked his little backside off and is the first Reid in living memory to make it to Grammar school. My dad was so hoping for this 😍😍😍 - Grandad would be proud too ❤️

My mum died aged 44 in 1993 was a huge influence on my music tastes. The reason I play music and sing. A huge Beatles fan. She was in some scenes for “A hard days night” movie. They used a small bit of the footage for the latest now and then video and there she is. Tears of joy.

Day 4 post hospital “event” and he’s back to normal (as he can be for a man of 81 with late stage heart failure). Hoping it was a one off and he continues to smile for a long time yet.

Tonight my little mini me surpassed my Cubs record and became a “Sixer”. Taken at home before he found out. I’m wearing my Sea-Scouts leaders top for the first time too. Only comes out for special occasions so I suspected he knew something was up. He makes me proud every day 😍

FYI some may remember I was assaulted at work in September 2022. Went to court today and the chap changed his plea to guilty. So that’s all done and dusted. Couple of months added on to his sentence he’s already serving.

Dad’s in end of life care since Tuesday. I’m with him all day, only going home to sleep at 11pm- 7am. We don’t want him in any pain & to go find my mum asap. However, I swear he’s on the wind up & doing a skit from his fave Python movie! He always had a great sense of humour 😂
