They asked for a Ugandan thread and they will get it 😂. My first impressions about Uganda were very different from what the media had portrayed as I was growing up. Field Marshall Idi Amin Dada was the predominant image of the country and we knew nothing else. MTN changed that.

@bryanl So this used to happen to us ALL the time in SF in 2010/11 .Used to ask friendly looking white strangers to hail cabs for us. Worked all the time. For us, Lyft and Uber meant freedom to actually get somewhere without being made to feel like shit. Totally forgot about this.
