One of the reasons the Middle East carriers do well is that there is ZERO risk of labor issues, unlike at Lufthansa, BA, KLM/Air France, or more recently, as in yesterday, VISTARA, when some 1st officers were protesting their downgrade to AI standards & refused to operate flights
🔴 The first day of Lufthansa's massive strike, with the almost-full closure of Frankfurt and Munich Airports, will affect around 200.000 passengers. Aircraft remain grounded at foreign airports as well, like Madrid in this case.

Indigo is eyeing this aircraft. A huge 6E order may likely cement an Embraer assembly plant in India.
▶️Other countries vying for the plant are China and Turkey. So, it is a 3 horse race.

I don’t get why Korean Air doesn’t have flight to BLR.
It is big partner in SkyTeam & with Delta can offer seamless connectivity to US via Seoul.
Separately, BLR-ICN is perfect for Vistara’s A321LR (6E a321 doesn’t have range)

With Europe, AF would be our best shot, KL doing very well at BLR and slots at AMS, so AF it is sooner or later. BA is a bit of a surprise, downgauging…
