So many Canadians express pride in our healthy care system; and historically there was much to be proud of,. But the current reality is different. As @QueensUHealth's Dr Tony Sanfilippo compellingly argues - we now have a 4th tier medical system

There can be a lot of angst as adolescents explore romantic connections. When things go badly, future #career paths can suffer as well. Anika Cloutier, PhD'20, explored the potential link between violence in adolescent dating relationships and #leader emergence as part of her doctoral work at Smith with #SmithBusiness Professor @JulianBarling. For folks involved in safety, certainly not! But sadly, for many in the world of management, this lesson really is still both “new” and “brave”….
@JulianBarling Disappointingly, neither brave nor new in the world of safety.

Could not agree more! And how we respond at times like this reveals who we really are, without adding anything of value to the public debate….
Hey folks. It's possible to disagree with someone & even to have been treated unfairly by them, yet respond to them with grace, respect & human dignity. We need more civility, less hatred. More forbearance, less bitterness. Let's be a nation where people are kind to one another.

WOW! @theJagmeetSingh has so much to learn from Jane Philpott about dignity, grace and compassion! Canadians definitely expect better from their #leaders….
It's an emotional day. Anyone who served Canada as head of government deserves thanks & respect. So, thanks @justintrudeau for your service. Thanks for giving me an opportunity to serve in the 42nd parliament. I'm proud of many things we accomplished in those days. Wish you well.

At this critical time in Canadian history, some words of wisdom for @CanadianPM from American Pulitzer prize winning historian James McGregor Burns: "the place that a great man holds in history is largely determined by the manner in which he makes his exit from the stage" @acoyne

And the this tells us why CEOs and organizations want their people back at work! And it has nothing to do with mentoring….
We should circle back in 6 months & see if they meant it. With Amazon's decision to bring employees back to the office 5 days a week starting in January, a new survey of 1,065 its workers finds that half (48%) have already applied for new jobs & 7-in-10 (68%) are “somewhat likely” or “very likely” to quit in '25. Those are huge numbers if people really flee. This will be one big test of an RTO policy. #Leadership #WFH #Management #HR
