One of our clients recently bought a Porsche.
And not just a regular 911.
It's a GT3.
I'm not saying everyone we work with is going to get a GT3, but it's definitely possible...

Last year, we grew the brand 1361%, but they recently brought on a new Head of Growth who's been out to get us.
We haven't been running ads exactly the way he thinks we
To grow a Shopify store, you don't need super complicated funnels. You just need to
✅Go hard on 1 social channel, probably IG or TT
✅Run paid ads on 1-3 channels (FB/IG, Google, TT)
✅Build out automated email + SMS flows
✅Send 1-2 new email + SMS campaigns per week
Pro Conversion Rate Optimization Tip (
#CRO
) for
@Shopify
Store Owners
Make sure you pay attention to where you experience a drop off (or improvement) after you make changes to your site, in order to improve conversion rates.
Here's how... 🧵
In case you didn't know already, high-performing eCommerce stores convert between 2.5%-3.5% of site visitors into customers.
That means 97 out of 100 people won't buy anything. 😟
So how do you get more people to convert?
Here's the answer. 👇👇👇

Pro Tip: You don't hire a plumber and then tell them how to do your plumbing.
When you hire an expert marketing team, instead of telling them what to do, ask lots of questions to find out what they recommend.
Then, give them a chance to do it their way and make you money.

eCommerce stores treat agencies much differently than employees.
With employees, you expect them to take about 3 months or so to get up to speed and start making a difference.
With agencies, eCommerce brands expect immediate results on day 1.
I'm convinced if you save the top threads you read from Twitter in an organized way, you'll learn more than you would getting an MBA.
Agree or disagree?

eCommerce Stores: Learn How to 10X Your Social Media Content
Creating social content isn't easy.
You need photos for Instagram; you need videos for Reels and TikTok; etc.
But there is one simple hack you can use to 10X your social media content. 👇👇👇
I don't know who needs to hear this, but you CANNOT trust the Facebook dashboard right now.
One of our clients sent us a screenshot of a FB report showing $4872 in spend and 0 purchases when that campaign actually had a 3.93 ROAS.

knows what I'm talking about.
FYI, hoping and praying is not an eCommerce marketing strategy.
You need a proven/tested plan and at least 3-4 marketing channels in place in order to grow.
So, what's your marketing plan for 2022, and how much are you investing in paid ads, email, and SMS in order to grow?
Not sure who needs to hear this, but if you pay too much attention to daily sales numbers, it's going to stress you out.
The solution?
Look at 30-day and 90-day windows to give you a better perspective on how things are going and which direction you're trending.

True story...
We had a client who wasn't 100% sure he was getting the best ad results, so he switched to one of those big name agencies with fancy ads and a slick sales team.
ROAS immediately dropped 61%.
After that, he decided to switch to a freelancer but sales stayed
My favorite thing about

is how it helps you make better budget decisions faster.
Instead of searching for the return on your ad spend across multiple channels, you can see your overall return in one place anytime you want to see it.
It's been awesome.

As far as FB ads go, we're seeing the best results with:
(1) Combining campaigns to consolidate learning (2 ad sets where you would have had 6 before, etc).
(2) Broadening remarketing audiences since those have gotten smaller.
(3) Lowering ROAS target.
(4) Optimizing for MER.
Here's a friendly reminder that if your
@shopify
store can do $40k/mo, you can do $80k/mo.
And if you can do $80k/mo, you can do $160k/mo.
Just make sure you get the right people in your corner and don't give yourself a mental ceiling.

How long should it take for a marketing agency to get results?
30 days, 90 days, 180 days?
What's a good rule of thumb when deciding how much time to give a marketing agency to start getting results?
What type of limiting beliefs are holding you back?
Someone doing $250k wonders if $1M is even possible while someone doing $10M considers $1M to be an easy first step.
Pro Tip: Spend more time around people doing more than you so you get a better idea of what's possible.
We recently had a client leave to go to a bigger agency that runs a lot of slick ads for their agency on IG.
ROAS is currently down 61%.
Takeaway: Bigger agencies with slick ads aren't always the answer.
Listen people, ghosting sales professionals is not the answer.
Sales professionals can take a "No" much better than not hearing from you and not knowing why.
If a salesperson invests time in getting on the phone, putting together a proposal, etc., the least you can do is let

FYI you 100% cannot trust Facebook ad data at the moment.
If you're making decisions based on Facebook ad data, then:
❌ You're pausing ads that shouldn't be paused
❌ Your ads won't be profitable
❌ You won't be able to scale
❌ You'll be miserable

I just got off a call with someone claiming that the majority of their FB ad traffic spends <1s on their site.
The explanation was that it must be bot traffic and not real traffic.
Has anyone else seen this with any other ad accounts?

Marketing is hard because you have to understand the American market (aka Americans) in order to sell to them.
That makes it nearly impossible for someone who doesn't live here to create campaigns, etc., for an entirely different market.
